This Prezi presentation is about the forms and conventions we used in our work, ways we conformed, challenged and developed real media products. We looked at genre conventions initially to see how this particular genre was presented and how we could produce that. To do so we focused mainly on the mise en scene, looking at the clothing therefore this allowed to visually conforming to existing media products. Then we looked at existing media products in relation to camera work and what type of skills we needed to develop to produce the right frame work.

This Prezi presentation explains what media platforms we have used to present our documentary, regards to the documentary, newspaper advertisement and the double page spread. To develop this the presentation gives example of existing media products and what platforms have been used then compared to our documentary and what features we have taken from these existing products and how this has been adapted (challenged) to suit our purpose.

In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions or real media products?

This powerpoint contains the conventions of documentaries, naming those that we have used and how we have chnaged the forms in order for them to suit our work. When reading the powerpoint you are able to see how existing products compare to our product. By looking at the conventions of exisiting products this gave us a style model to foolow, allowing us to make sure  the work we produced followed the sterotypical conventions therefore making it recognisable to our audience.
